January 2006
This year's Kagami Biraki, the celebration of the Martial Arts New Year, took place on Saturday January 14th 2006. It was held at Bella Vista Trattoria, the family-owned restaurant of UTKC member Lisa Di Viesti.

Moyo Williams and Elaine Li were the MC's for the event and guided us through a fun evening filled with presentations, skits, speeches, and awards.

This year's guest speaker was Shazam Williams who described his years at the UTKC. Highlights included his thrilling, death-defying, sky-diving story.

It was a great night as usual. Thanks to Social Director Moyo Williams for organizing the event, and the volunteers, and everyone who came out!
